A Fitting Tribute!A Fitting Tribute!
MacGills Dry Cleaners based in Acton recently saw the passing of their well know and valued business partner Ray Dennis. Ray had worked for MacGills for over 30 years and was not only instrumental in the development of the business but a well-respected figure in the industry.
After his passing owner Mr Reza Khoshnam decided that he wanted to pay tribute to the Irishman and his contribution to the company. With Wavepoint Group’s help the last dry cleaning machine that Ray ordered, a 35kg Progress 80 was customised and installed in January.
Mrs Pamela Sseruwagi at MacGills, can be seen here standing proudly by Raymond’s machine.
“We were more than happy to help MacGills with this project. Normally customers just want to change the colour of their machines, so even though this was a slightly unusual request, we wanted to get it right for both Ray and MacGills. Ray was a great character who I have known, joked with and had many a laugh with for all of my working life and I think he would have loved what we have done, especially the homage to his favourite drink!” said Jason Alexander, Managing Director of Wavepoint Group.
Reza Khoshnam agreed, “Ray would have laughed himself silly about this – it’s perfect"
